Crookes shopping centre / Review of Limited Wait times in Crookes shopping centre between Lydgate Lane and Northfield Avenue –
£80 per new loading and waiting sign quoted / t.b.c. / Cllr J Hesketh via P Bull / Costs to be confirmed.
Need for single Crookes ward TRO to cover all small schemes?
All work to be carried out as one scheme?

£80 per new loading and waiting sign quoted / t.b.c. / Cllr J Hesketh / Costs to be confirmed.

Report recommends Option Two at cost of £7500.
Scheme spans both Central CA on east side (Broomhill ward) and SWCA, so potentially shared scheme – 50:50 costs.
Report to be sent to Central CA with view to seek approval at March meeting.

Benty Lane / Residents’ Only parking scheme (to prevent “park and ride” parking).
Introduce south-east bound one way system (to reduce congestion).
Limited Wait restrictions (to prevent “park and ride”) / “Alex and Coco” by email (no further details) / Considered by Traffic Regulations and Road Safety officers. Does not meet criteria for Residents Parking Scheme. One way system would likely speed up traffic and therefore not improve safety.
