8HP70 Overhaul kit comparison
We generally do not include inner components for the mechatronic/valve body to our overhaul kits as we are not sure if all workshops would be interested to dismantle and repair mechatronics/valve bodies – we generally offer a separate repair kit for that purpose. We also do not put parts into our kits which can be re-used. Most of these items we do offer as separate items. This strategy keeps our prices low and avoids the waste of unwanted parts. Most components of our overhaul kits can be ordered in sub-kits (based on the location of the components) or as single items. We are also prepared to compose customized kits based on the wishes of our clients.
Autoline kit A-OHK-8HP70 does NOT contain following items which are included in kits of other suppliers (it does not mean that all items are always included in the kits of all other suppliers).
14 pcs. torx screws for centering plate – Autoline kit includes the bonded seals without the screws only – if screws with bonded seals are required they are part of our kit A-OHK-8HP70-WS and can be ordered separately: TXS-8HP-01 – various screw kits are also available.
1 pce. connector plug for wiring harness – Autoline kit includes the 2 o-rings and the seal ring of the plug only – if a complete plug is required it can be orders separately: CPG-8HPX
1 pce. pressure tube on the Mechatronic – Autoline kit includes the 2 o-rings of the tube only – if a complete tube is required it can be orders separately: PPE-8HP70
1 pce. green O-Ring for Output – it is identical with an O-Ring for the E-clutch in their sub kit no. 11 – we believe it is the same o-ring which is double in the kit by error. During dismantling the transmission we found only 1 of these o-rings. It is included in our sub kit for the E-clutch.
1 pce. metal sleeve for Output – we might add this item to our kit at a later stage – meanwhile it can be ordered separately: SSL-8HP70-A
1 pce. plastic drain plug for the oil pan - Autoline kit includes the o-ring of the plug only – if a complete plug is required it can be orders separately: SCP-8HP70-OS.
1 pce. M10x1 metal drain plug with green seal - Autoline kit includes the green seal of the plug only – if a complete plug is required it can be orders separately: SCP-HPX-1
2 pcs. M10x1 metal drain plug with green seal - Autoline kit includes the 2 green seals of the plug only – if a complete plug is required it can be orders separately: SCP-HPX-12
None of the following circlips/snap rings is included in our kit.

All circlips can be offered separately.
6 pcs. plastic check balls for the valve body – these check balls will make part of our separate valve body kit A-SUK-8HP70-VB or they can be ordered separately: CBL-8HPXX-VB
6 pcs. dampers for the valve body – these dampers (in fact it will be 7) will make part of our separate valve body kit A-SUK-8HP70-VB or they can be ordered separately: VBD-XHPXX – we found 7 in dampers during disassembly of the valve body.
1 pce. plastic filter screen for the valve body - this screen will make part of our separate valve body kit A-SUK-8HP70-VB or they can be ordered separately: FSC-8HPXX
1 pce. metal mesh filter strainer for the valve body – this strainer will make part of our separate valve body kit A-SUK-8HP70-VB or they can be ordered separately: FST-8HPXX
1 pce. metal sleeve for Output - we might add this item to our kit at a later stage – meanwhile it can be ordered separately: SSL-8HP70-A
1 pce. collar nut for Output - it can be ordered separately: CLN-8HP70-OU
2 pcs. Plastic oil trays for planetary gear set 1&2 –- besides the design supplied, which is for a 4-planet-set, there is also a version for 3-planet-sets which is not kit – We will not attach these oil trays to our kits, but they can be ordered separately:

For 3-planet gear sets: OTY-8HP55/70-3
In an aftermarket kit we found additionally:
8 pcs o-ring of 6 different dimensions - we are not able to allocate to any function in this type of transmission. Therefore we are also not able to supply these o-rings
5 black plastic valves for the valve body. We are aware of 4 grey valves and 1 blue valve in this valve body. The design of the grey and the blue are slightly different, whereas the valves in the kit are all the same.- We will not add theses valve to our overhaul kit. They are also not available as single items.
3 oil (metal clad) seals of different dimensions for the transfer case – 1x input, 2x output – We have not been able to identify theses oil seals and will not include them to our kit. We believe that they might not be used in connection with this transmission. As we could not identify the oil seals we cannot offer them.
Furthermore we found derivations from the OE products :
Dimensions – bonded seals, rubber sealing sleeve, some o-rings
Colour – check balls, filter screen, filter strainer, some o-rings
None of the kits contains the double-ball-check valve for the valve body. It may be provided separately in the future: A-CVV- 8HPXX-VB.
