Job Title: Renewed Treasures Store Manager
Reports to: Executive Director
Love In the Name of Christ (INC) of Littleton is an affiliate of Love INC, a national ministry currently operating in 27 states. Our mission is to mobilize the local churches to transform lives and communities in the Name of Christ. Renewed Treasures is the resale shop of Love INC, providing both income for the mission and service for clients.
Job Responsibilities
Provide overall leadership for daily activities at Renewed Treasures, Love INC’s resale shop. Specific areas of focus include: Maintaining the mission of Renewed Treasures, staffing and supervising volunteers; maintaining retail systems, policies, and procedures; overseeing daily retail operations.
Position Duties and Tasks
Provide spiritual leadership for store leaders and volunteers
·  Uphold the Christian foundation and promote prayer and discipleship throughout the organization
·  Ensure the mission integrity of Renewed Treasures by upholding the mission and core values of Love INC
·  Participate in planning and collaboration with other Love INC staff to maximize mission effectiveness and reach
Recruit, support and supervise volunteer staff using excellent management skills
·  Provide a safe and inviting resale environment
·  Recruit and train volunteer staff to meet the ministry and financial goals of Renewed Treasures
·  Provide supervision as well as ongoing training and support of volunteer staff and ensure compliance to personnel policies and procedures
·  Implement and maintain work schedules for volunteers
Oversee daily retail operations
·  Provide leadership and procedures for effective and consistent processing, sorting, pricing, tagging and the attractive displaying of merchandise throughout the store
·  Ensure the store is kept neat and clean, maintaining an appealing shopping experience for customers.
·  Ensure adequate office and processing supplies are maintained at the store
·  Oversee product inventory and the processing of incoming merchandise, maintaining a rotation schedule to keep fresh merchandise on the sales floor and rotate “stale” items out of the store.
·  Maintain the computer, surveillance, and POS systems, ensuring documentation and reporting of daily results as well as cash deposits are done in a timely manner.
·  Provide documentation of financial and operational results to Love INC as requested by the Executive Director and/or the Board of Directors
Other duties as assigned
Position Qualifications:
·  A personal relationship with Jesus Christ; belief in the mission of Love INC
·  Familiar with church culture, structure, and missions; active involvement in a church preferred
·  Two years’ experience in retail management, with direct supervision of multiple staff and/or volunteers
·  Understanding of the dynamics of helping people in need is desired
·  Exhibits the following skills and gifts:
o  Possesses a positive, encouraging, compassionate perspective
o  Exhibits strong organizational, prioritization, decision-making, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
o  Demonstrates and advocates for continuous improvement
o  Proficient on the computer, including email, Microsoft Office Suite, databases and social media
o  Strong bookkeeping skills and proficiency on POS system
o  Strong verbal and written skills
o  Works well in a team setting; demonstrates initiative; self-motivated
·  High School diploma
·  Able to lift 20 lbs
·  Able to pass a background check
