b)1977-1978:Borough of Empangeni: Town Valuer and Estate Manager. Responsible for municipal valuations, managing Council property and leases.

c)1978-1979:City Council of Pretoria: Principal valuer with oversight on valuations and allocated personnel management.

d)1980-1981: Department of Public Works: Valuer. Valuations of state-owned properties, expropriation, and state-owned property management.

e)1981….: Private Practice: Professional Valuer. Property valuations; project management on various projects in private and public sectors.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE APPLICABLE TO THIS ASSIGNMENT AND REFERENCES

a)Pioneer Foods:

Create property inventory for country wide immovable assets of of Pioneer Foods for listing on the JSE. Physical inspection and measurement of all immovable assets; create a property inventory/data base inclusive of offices, bakeries, mills, sales outlets, and all facets in their poultry farming.

b)Department of Public Works:

Lesotho High Lands Water Scheme-first phase. Inter alia: Managed and executed the expropriation of servitudes.

c)Western Cape Provincial Government:

Was part of the Rode team in the development of an immoveable asset register for their Department of Transport and Public Works. Inter alia: Verification of 5700 land parcels, updating of existing data and adding new data to their data base.

d)Municipalities:

Our office compiles municipal valuation rolls in terms of the Municipal Rating Act. Various other functions results from and below is a short summary:

-In performing municipal valuations we are routinely managing and executing building measurement, and recording such data. Over the last six years we have measured ± 200000 buildings and recorded their data.

-Approximately 30% of these properties are of a commercial nature and rental lease areas, market related rentals and expenditure researched, in order to obtain a correct valuation.
