PDU Timeline 2016-17

●  Fall and Year-long School Wide, Central Dept. and Fall Personal/Small Group PDU proposals need to be approved by Oct 31st .

●  Fall PDU registration must be completed by Oct 30th - PDUs must be completed by Dec. 15th.

●  Spring Personal/Small Group PDUs and Spring School Wide/Central proposals need to be approved by Feb 15th.

●  Spring/year-long PDU registration must be completed by Feb 15th –PDUs must be completed by May 15th.

●  Instructional Superintendent, Principal & School’s SLT Committee must approve year-long school PDU. Department head must approve central department sponsored PDU proposals. Personal/Small Group PDUs do NOT need IS/SLT approval.

●  Karen Ruzycki & Mark Arseneau are available to assist in developing personal, school and department sponsored PDUs connected with the area of focus identified in the school UIP and/or Personal Growth Plans for the school year.

PDU Leader Stipend Info:

●  The maximum amount of the stipend will be $1000 per Leader IF all expectations are completed according to the PDU Leader Stipend Rubric.

●  A PDU stipend is not available for school-wide PDUs with less than 10 participants. (Requests for a modification must be submitted in writing to Karen or Mark.)

●  The number of leader per school s is determined by the number of teachers participating in the PDU at each school.

●  The number of stipends for a PDU Leader at a school is as follows:

Less than 60 PDU Participants = 1 teacher PDU leader

60 or more PDU Participants = 2 teacher PDU leaders

90 or more PDU Participants = 3 teacher PDU leaders
