1.Dhaka Pally Bidyut Samity-1, Polashbari, Savar, Dhaka invites application from eligible firms having strong background and long standing experience in rendering services leading to the certification of organizations. The reputed consulting house will engage professional experts in the field to deliver the required services to establish a Quality Management System (QMS) compliant to ISO- 9001:2008 (or later version) guidelines for Dhak PBS-1.
2. The eligibility of consulting firm for participation in the EOI includes:
a.The applicant/interested consulting firm shall be nationally reputed organization.
b. The applicant shall have their own Branches/Offices in Dhaka city.
c.The applicant shall have at least 05 (Five) ISO9001:2008 (QMS) Standards consultancy experience in power utility (preferably electricity distribution) organizations. Firms having higher experience and reputation in power utility organizations will get preference.
3. The interested firms must have:
a. Name of the firm.
b. Address of registered office and country of registration.
c. Trade license
d. VAT registration with up-to-date TIN.
e. Areas of operations.
f. Description of assignments conducted during last three years.
h. 'List of major Clients during past 03 (Three) years with contact address and contact person.
i. Personal Qualification: List of technical, managerial expertise with their CVs, experience and
documents in support of their educational qualification and photographs' to be attached. CV will
bear specimen signature of each person for identification.
j. Copy of Bank Solvency Certificate.
4.Interested firms for this challenging assignment should submit the following information in details
including brochures, company profile, description of experiences in the assignments, summaries of firms’
technical and managerial expertise, availability of resources and establishments etc. The EOIs will be
reviewed on the basis of the following:
· Registration of firm
· Experiences in the assignments
· Firm’s technical and managerial expertise
· Experience in power sector utilities
· Experience of working with public/private & development partners/donors
5.Based on preliminary selection, Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued to the selected short-listed firms
for submission of proposal in a single stage two envelope systems on Least Cost Selection (LCS) method in
the light of PPR-2008 & PPA 2006.
6.Interested firms may obtain a detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) from the office at the address below during
the office hours Saturday to Thursday. Expression of interest (3 copies along with one original) must be
submitted to the address below by 24 November, 2015.
