Sliding doors with roller-guided sliding door fittings

Manual design sliding doors are becoming more popular. They are ideal for offices, hotels, and doctor’s surgeries or for private residences, as they do not take up any space when opening and ensure an optimal use of the room. Glass solutions create additional transparency and light. Even shelves, walk-in wardrobes, cloakrooms, bathrooms and entire kitchenettes can disappear discreetly behind them. Unused alcoves can be turned into valuable storage rooms. However distinctive glass doors appear, they always hold a potential risk due to their fragility. For this reason GEZE has developed a draw-in damping for their sliding door fittings.
GEZE offers the innovative roller-guided sliding door system Perlan 140 in different versions for single and double leafed sliding door systems, which can additionally be synchronously used. With its noble design Perlan 140 supports every desired room impact. The system is suitable for mounting from light to heavy interior doors and sliding shutter systems made out of wood, glass, plastic and metal with door leaves up to 140 kg. High quality materials and first-class manufacturing ensure a resilient and durable use in heavily frequented areas.
Soft draw-in with Perlan 140 GEZE SoftStop
Perlan 140 with GEZE SoftStop perfectly combines comfort and safety with the optional draw-in damping. Similar to the functionality of a modern drawer, the GEZE SoftStop ensures the soft braking and an independent and silent draw-in of the sliding door leaf. An uncontrollable impact on the frame or the buffer is therefore not possible. GEZE SoftStop extends also the life cycle of the sliding door, as the door and the fitting are prevented from damage. The first class functionally and safety of the maintenance free draw-in damping has been tested with 100,000 opening and closing cycles according to DIN EN 1527 for locks and fittings. The draw-in damping is completely concealed in the running track. GEZE SoftStop combines sophisticated technology with high design requirements, so additional lining or disturbing easily soiled attaching parts are omitted.
