FACILITIES / Six lane, 25-yard pool with electronic timing and starting with manual backups. Full-feature Daktronics scoreboard. Large gallery for spectator seating.

OFFICIALS / All currently certified YMCA and USA officials are encouraged to volunteer.

ELIGIBILITY / 9 & Older swimmers ONLY who have not met an individual qualifying time for the 2016 PA District meets. Your cooperation in submitting only those swimmers who have NOT attained any qualifying standards will uphold the integrity of a Championship meet for all ability levels. If a swimmer is attending one of the District meets on a relay, but has not achieved an individual qualifying time, the swimmer MAY attend B-Champs. Any team from any of the PA Districts may attend.
Swimmers’ age is as of December 1, 2015
ENTRY LIMITS / Swimmers are restricted to a maximum of five (5) events. Please review the order of events for 2016.
ENTRY FEES / $4.00/ event + $3 facility fee per swimmer
Please send ONE CHECK ONLY for the total amount of your team entries. We will not accept a collection of individual checks from your team members. Your check should be made payable to: PSTPO
ENTRY DEADLINE / Entry Deadline is Friday, February 19, 2016 - 11:59 PM . ***NO EXCEPTIONS***
No additional swimmers or events can be added after the deadline.
TIME TRIALS / Time trials will be offered at the end of the meet as time allows. Time trials must be entered by Event #29. Fee is $5.00/event.
ENTRY PROCESS / Electronic entries shall be submitted using Hy-Tek software. NT entries will not be accepted.

Refunds will be given to any individual who enters the meet and subsequently qualifies for the District Meet. No other refunds will be given.
WARM-UP &
START TIMES / Warm ups: Detailed schedule will be emailed prior to the event
Meet Start: 9 am
VOLUNTEERS / Volunteer timers and officials are needed from all participating teams. Please encourage volunteers from your team.
RULES / The current USA Swimming technical rules, YMCA Rules that Govern Competitive Sports, and the Rules Supplement for Pennsylvania Group shall apply. Where there is any conflict, the YMCA Rules that Govern Competitive Sports shall supersede.
Any question that may arise and is unanswered by the meet referee may be referred to the WPYSL Executive Committee.
SAFETY & WARM-UP PROCEDURE / YMCA and USA Swimming safety procedures will be enforced throughout the meet.
  • Use of audio or visual recording devices, including a cell phone is not permitted in changing area, restrooms, or locker rooms.
  • Shaving is not permitted in the facility.
  • Except where venue facilities require otherwise, changing into or out of swimsuits other than in locker rooms or other designated areas is not appropriate and strongly discouraged
Warm-ups are subject to the following procedures:
  • No diving or backstroke starts will be permitted except in sprint lanes, when designated.
  • The referee may remove anyone from the warm-up for failure to comply with the warm-up rules.
Note: Swimmers violating safety procedures will be removed from the warm-up for the remainder of the warm-up session. Subsequent violations may cause the swimmer to be disqualified from the remainder of the meet. This policy will be strictly enforced.
Deck access will be limited to swimmers, coaches, officials, and meet personnel.
NO SPECTATORS WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE POOL DECK AT ANY TIME.
CONDUCT / Parents and coaches are responsible for the conduct of their swimmers throughout the building and campus. The Meet Committee reserves the right to eject any individual for rules violations and/or inappropriate behavior. For the safety of all attendees, the throwing of balls or other objects is prohibited and subject to confiscation. Gymnastics and running are also prohibited in athlete waiting areas, classrooms, and hallways.
AWARDS / Medals will be awarded to the swimmers who finish in the top six (6) in each event. Ribbons will be awarded for places 7–12 in each event. Prizes will be provided to each heat winner. Awards will be presented on deck as outlined in the event listing. Any changes to the award schedule will be posted prior to the event.
PROGRAMS / $5.00
VENDORS / Swimmer’s Network will be on site for your swimwear and equipment needs.
T-SHIRTS / T-shirts will be sold on site.
RESULTS / Official results will be emailed within 24 hours of the conclusion of the meet. Times attained from this meet are eligible to meet the qualifying standards for the 2016 PA District Swimming Championships.
Results will be posted in the spectator hallway & poolside throughout the meet and also available on Meet Mobile.
