Dear student,

We are happy to inform you that your nomination for an exchange semester at Saxion UAS has been accepted. The registration is now open for February 2017.

Programme & Registration

You will be taking part in our new exchange programme: the European Project Semester (EPS).

EPS is also known as the Living Technology Project Semester. The semester is taught in English and you will receive 30 ECTS completing the program. The EPS programme consists of the following:

- A multi-disciplinary project related to engineering & life science subjects (24 ECTS)

- Project supportive course in Intercultural Awareness (3 ECTS) (only in quarter 1)

- Project supportive course in English Academic Writing (3 ECTS) (only in quarter 2) Considering you are a native English speaker we might make some changes to this course to ensure it suits your needs.

You will be able to choose the project yourself, a list of available projects will be communicated to you in January 2017.

Please note that you don't have to apply separately any more (this is stated under the tab 'requirements' on our website) as your nomination has already been accepted - you can register directly to the programme. The deadline for registration is1st November.

Housing

During the registration process you can indicate if you are interested in housing by Saxion. Information on housing can be found on For adminstrative purposes, could you also reply to this email in case you are interested?

Year calender/Introduction

I've attached the year calendar for your semester start and end dates. Your introduction will be onMonday 6th February 10.00amat the main building of Saxion (address: M.H. Tromplaan 28 in Enschede). I'll be present at the reception to welcome you.

Exchange programmes longer than 5 months

If you are considering to stay longer than one exchange semester, please contact me directly so we can organize the rest of your exchange programme.
