.1Product Data:

.1Submit manufacturer's printed product literature, specifications and datasheet in accordance with Section013300 - Submittal Procedures. Include product characteristics, performance criteria, and limitations.
.1Submit two copies of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) in accordance with Section 013300 - Submittal Procedures.
.2Product data to include:
.1Filters, fan accessibility.
.2Suspension, anchoring of cabinet.
.3Physical size.
.4Thermostat, transformer, controls where integral.
.5Finish.
.6kW rating, voltage, phase.
.7Cabinet material thicknesses.

.2Shop Drawings:

.1Submit shop drawings in accordance with Section 013300 - Submittal Procedures.

.3Quality assurance submittals: submit following in accordance with Section 013300 - Submittal Procedures.

.1Certificates: submit certificates signed by manufacturer certifying that materials comply with specified performance characteristics and physical properties.
.2Instructions: submit manufacturer's installation instructions.

1.5QUALITY ASSURANCE

.1Health and Safety:

.1Do construction occupational health and safety in accordance with Section 013529.06 - Health and Safety Requirements.

1.6DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING

.1Packing, shipping, handling and unloading:

.1Deliver, store and handle in accordance with manufacturer's written instructions and Section 016100 - Common Product Requirements.

.2Waste Management and Disposal:

.1Construction/Demolition Waste Management and Disposal: separate waste materials for reuse and recycling in accordance with Section 017421 - Construction/Demolition Waste Management and Disposal.
.2Divert unused metal and wiring materials from landfill to metal recycling facility approved by Owner’s Representative.

Part 2Products

2.1fan coil Units

.1Cabinet: steel, 1.2 mm thick, floor wall or ceiling mounting, recessed. Front inlet/front outlet.

.2Elements: stainless steel sheathed with corrosion protected aluminum fins covering full length of element capacity as indicated.

.3Blower motors: one speed, single phase.

.4Built-in thermostat with integral relay as indicated. Wall mounted thermostats: type as indicated, to Section 23 09 33 - Electric and Electronic Control System for HVAC.

.5Fan delay switch.

.6On-Off switch (for wall mount unit only).

.7Two position selector switch (for wall mount unit only).

.8Fresh air duct adapter.

.9Filter: washable and reusable.

.10Trim for flush installation.

.11Finish: three stage phosphatized treatment followed by 2 coats baked enamel with final coat.

.12Assembly fully wired to one outlet location.

.13Multiple knockouts for up to 38 mm diam conduit.

Part 3Execution

.1Compliance: comply with manufacturer's written recommendations or specifications, including product technical bulletins, handling, storage and installation instructions, and datasheet.

3.2Installation

.1Mount or hang units as indicated.

.2Make power and control connections.

.3Co-ordinate ducting of fresh air with other Divisions at floor.

3.3commissioning

.1Perform tests in accordance with Section 26 05 00–Common Work Results - Electrical.

.2Section 01 91 13 – General Commissioning (Cx) Requirements.

3.4Cleaning

.1Proceed in accordance with Section 017411 - Cleaning.

.2Upon completion and verification of performance of installation, remove surplus materials, excess materials, rubbish, tools and equipment.
