DearMembers of theBelAirSoccer Community,
TheBelAir Soccer Programhas establisheda codeof conductandresponsibilitiesthat applies to its players, coaches, and parents. Itis importantthat this codeof conductbe adheredto inorderto ensurethatthe experienceof playingsocceris a positiveonefor the girls and boys inour program. To thatend, players, coaches, and parents arerequiredto read theattached codeof conduct. Failureto abidebythe code,as, determinedbythecommissionerand/or chairperson mayleadto sanctionsincluding reprimand, suspensionand, inextreme cases, expulsionfromthe program.
The purpose of theBelAirSoccer Programis toencourageparticipationin youthtravelsoccerandto teachsoccerin a mannerwhich balances disciplineandachievementwithyour child’s fullestenjoymentof thegame.Unfortunately, coaches, parents,
andfans, despitetheir bestintentions, donot always realizethattheir actions, both verbal and non-verbal, canhavealastingandnegativeimpactonourchildren’s enjoymentof soccer. The ideals of goodsportsmanship, fair play, dignityinvictory andgraciousness indefeatare concepts thatare partof thefoundationuponwhichourchildrencan grow to becomethe adults wewantthem to be. As adultrole modelswe all shareagreatresponsibility inmolding our children. Our adherenceto the codeof conductthatfollowswill ensurethatwe are doing our partto makethisa programof whichwe canbe proud.
Thankyou,
BelAirSoccer
