OBJECTIVE

My desire is to use my current skills and gained experience to pursue my career in a bank. Key responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Central Bank of Oman RBS Examination action plan reports and progress reports.
  • Review and rectify all examination observations with an adequate follow up action and timeline.
  • Ensure that all quarterly compliance certificates from all the heads of department have been filled accurately.
  • Assist in preparation of compliance testing programs and / or checklists for concerned branches, departments and units ensuring adequate coverage across the bank.
  • Perform annual compliance testing, on a sample basis, to ensure that branches comply with applicable AML laws as well as Bank's AML/KEY policies and practices.
  • Perform annual compliance testing to ensure that all departments and units comply with Central Bank of Oman regulations relating to their area of business or operations.
  • Prepare reports outlining the results of compliance testing.
  • Training staff within the organization on aspects of the compliance function.
  • Coordinate with Central Bank of Oman, internal audits and external audits in order to rectify all examination observations.
  • Review all the bank products and services in order to ensure compliance with the laws and regulations.
  • Preparation of key risk indicators for all departments and branches according to central Bank of Oman circulars.
