1.If you are not able to secure a partner for doubles events prior to the Tournament Entry closing date, please put Partner Wanted in the relevant section of the entry form.

2.Entry Forms must be received by the closing date shown above, see below for details.

3.Please note that the Primary tournament is for children attending Primary School for the coming school year, 2016-17. This tournament is intended to be a fun tournament to give children their first experience of tournament play and entrants will be given as many games as possible.

4.New Age Groups this year:-

  • U13 – Entrants must be born on or after 1st January 2005
  • U14 – Entrants must be born on or after 1st January 2004
  • U16 – Entrants must be born on or after 1st January 2002
  • U18 – Entrants must be born on or after 1st January 2000

Please consult the list of tournaments on the front of entry form to check the details for the event you are entering, including details ofthe Tournament Secretary and Closing date for submitting the form.

CONDITIONS of ENTRY:

  1. A separate entry form MUST be completed for each tournament.
  2. The completed form together with the correct entry fee must be sent to the appropriate Tournament Secretary by the closing date.
  3. While every effort will be made to check all entry forms, it is ultimately the responsibility of the player to ensure that they comply with entryregulations. Ensure that the forms are completed CLEARLY and in full (in particular the name of the specific tournament you are entering) Illegible or incomplete entries may be ignored.
  4. Cheques must be made payable to the Cumbria Badminton Association.
  5. Entry Fees – Primary Tournament and Pool Singles Tournament £10, all County Champs U13/U14/U16/U18 - £12.
  6. BOTH partners MUST submit an entry form.
  7. If you have no partner and would like to enter a doubles event, please write ‘Partner Required’ in the space for ‘Partner’s Name’. TheTournament Committee will make every effort to find you a partner but cannot guarantee to do so. If a partner cannot be found a refund will be issued by postfollowing the Tournament.
  8. Age Limits –Primary – Must still be at Primary School at time of tournament.

U13 born 01/01/2005 or later, U14 born 01/01/2004 or later,

U16 born 01/01/2002 or later, U18 born 01/01/2000 or later.

  2. We would like to publish photos of winner/runners up on the Cumbria Badminton Website. Please could you indicate on the entry form if you consent to such photos being taken of your child and published on our website.
  3. Anyone else wishing to photograph or video at a tournament must obtain the Referee’s permission. Players (or their guardians) may withhold their permission by completing the appropriate statement on the bottom of the entry form.
