It is the expressed desire of the Board of Trustees of Bee Creek United Methodist Church; theChurch Facilities promote benevolence and outreach to the community, ultimately enhancing the mission of Christ’s Church. Because of the costs required to maintain the facility in its present condition, the Trustees do approve and set forth a facilities and grounds policy which states as follows:
- The church facilities are provided primarily for Worship, Fellowship, Christian Education, and CommunityOutreach and for the rights administered by the United Methodist Church.
- The use of the facilities on Sundays, Holy Week and the two-week period prior to Christmas is limited to Church-sponsored groups, Weddings and Funerals. Church-related activities always have priority, with advance notice, over other groups.
- All meetings and/or functions that are to use the facilities will be requestedviachurch web-site, atFacilityRequest or fill out a form in the office. After approved it will be registered on the web site calendar. This registration will note the time of the function and the room(s) requested.
- No alcoholic beverages are allowed on any part of the church property.
- No smoking inside any facilities is permitted.
- No furniture, hangings, or other items may be moved without specific consent of a Pastor or the Trustees of Bee Creek United Methodist Church. Any furnishings that are approved for temporary relocation must be replaced promptly following the event.
- All temporary decorations are to be such that they will not cause damage to the facilities or furnishings in the church; and are to be approved by the Trustees or Pastor.
- A member of staff will unlock the facility for your usage and lock the facility after your event.
- The use of the facility for weddings is per a separate wedding guideline.
- Agreement by the user of the facilities is required in the following manner to assure the return of the church facilities and grounds to their previous state:
The user shall complete all items on the facilities use checklist, which outlines step-by-step procedures to be performed before leaving the church.
- Long distance telephone calls and use of equipment or fixtures not associated with the room is prohibited except by prior approval of Trustees or the Pastors.
- The use of Church tables and chairs may be arranged at the time of securing the space. It is expected the user set-up and takedown chairs and tables. The use of church property will not be available to church members for personal use off the church campus, unless requested in writing and approved by the Trustees. Examples: tables, chairs, music equipment, lighting, cooking utensils, kitchen equipment. If approved by Trustees, the items will be checked out with a deposit and logged in the church office and may be used for a period of up to one week.
Fees and charges for the Pastor’s services are separate and apart from those shown on the Facility Fee Schedule and Application for Use of Church Facilities.

Lights out!
Please make sure all lights are turned off in all areas.
Check A/C thermostat settings!
The thermostat switches should be set on 80 degree for Air Conditioner and 60 degree for Heat
Check restrooms!
Please check restrooms and be sure the lights and vent fans are off.
Replace chairs and all other furnishings!
Please return any items to the place they were in; when you arrived.

Other Costs/Conditions:
- A deposit of $50.00 is required per key if a member of staff is unavailable.
- If food is being served, an additional custodial fee will be required.
- The fees and conditions for weddings are per a separate schedule.
- Per fee schedule; (2) hours room usage, unless otherwise approved.
