In addition to completing the DePaul STARTALK ArabicTeacher Program application form, please provide the following materials according to you course:
Requirements
- One essay in Arabic and one in English addressing: “A brief professional background; Why are you interested in taking the course? What plans do you have to use technology in the Arabic classroom? How do you perceive this course helping youteachArabic to your students?” (Please limit your essay to a maximum of 500 words).
- Current resume.
- The grant does not cover the cost of college credit, but will provide a small monitory stipend that can be used towards tuition. If interested in taking the course for credit, you, or your institution are responsible for registration, admission, and tuition. Let us know at the time of application and we will provide further details.
Note: Limited number of participants will be admitted to the program. Please send your application as soon as possible to ensure that you are considered for the program.
