SCHEDULE:RACES WILL START PROMPLTLY (Girls 4000 M& Boys – 5000M)

3:30Coaches Meeting – Finish Line

4:00Jr. High / Middle School Race (Bibs and chip timed)

4:30Girls Varsity – 4000 m

5:05Boys Varsity – 5000 m

5:40Girls JV – 4000 m

6:15Boys JV – 5000 m

Please arrive early if you plan to walk the course. Please mail or bring the entry fee to the high school prior to the invite.

RACE ENTRIES:Attached are the instructions for entering your athletes. The entries MUST be completed by Monday, August 28 (Midnight). Changes will be allowed at the meet. A limit of two additional athletes on race day will be allowed.

PARKING:Please use the softball diamond parking lot. DO NOT use the 1st or 4th street entrances to KHS. From Park Avenue turn north on 6th street and the parking is on your right.

AWARDS:Varsity championship & runner-up team plaques plus individual medals will be awarded. B & G: Varsity 1-20, JV 1-10 and Middle School medals 1-5.

OTHER INFORMATION:

-Please bring water for your team. The athletic trainers have only a limited amount of water for their needs.

-Portable Restrooms will be available at the meet sight.

-Please pick up your meet packet when you arrive so any corrections or changes can be made and entered into the chip scoring computer and race chips can be given to athletes.

-Concessions will be available sponsored by the KIEL CC Booster Club.

-Kiel Invitational T-Shirts will be available on meet day.

-The games committee will consist of the WIAA Starter, meet manager, Elkhart Lake Girls’ coach and Hilbert Boys’ coach and will be as the final board of appeals.

-Lane assignments will be randomly drawn the day of the meet.

-An athletic trainer will be available during the meet.

-Please remind parents and spectators that NO PETS ARE ALLOWED.

-Up to 8 runners are allowed on varsity with only the first 7 counting in the team scoring.

-The middle school runners will be chip timed. Please enter your MS rosters on-line also. The runners will wear number bibs.

Middle school athletes also need to be entered into this system, they will be chip timed.
