The Event will be a Multi-clubMotorkhana conducted at Raleigh Racewayon the 29 April2018. There will be a minimum of 5 tests on an unsealed surface, with results decided upon the lowest aggregate time over all tests completed.

  1. Entries

Entries must be made on official Entry Form. Entries open on publication of these Supplementary Regulations and close on29thApril 2018 at 9.00am. Entry fee are as per the entry form for the event.

The maximum number of entries shall be 45, accepted in order of receipt.

The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry in accordance with NCR83 of the CAMS Manual of Motor Sport.

The maximum number of entries per vehicle is four.

Entries are preferred to be paid by Direct Debit and copies of the entry and receipt of payment sent to . This is for the Motorkhana series only. This saves time on the day for you and us and gives more time to Motorkhana!

If the Event is postponed the Club will automaticallykeep the entry/payment for the rescheduled Event. However, if the entrant requires the moneyreturned, email the Assistant Clerk of the Course or Secretary above with the details of the account to be paid and theClubTreasurer will refund the money.

Entries MUST be emailed or posted to the Event Secretary.

  1. Documentation and Scrutiny

Documentation and Scrutiny will commence at 0830 on 29th April at the venue.

Drivers must present their CAMS Licence (Level 2NS/2NSJ or higher), proof of CAMS Affiliated Clubmembership and vehicle LogBook (if issued).

All vehicles must undergo a Scrutiny check where the requirements of Schedule A and Group 4H of the current CAMS Manual of Motor Sport will be checked.

Drivers apparel, including helmets, must comply with the requirements of Schedule D of the current CAMS Manual of Motor Sport and be presented at Scrutiny. All Fuel must comply with the requirements of Schedule G of the current CAMS Manual of Motor Sport. Vehicles must be adequately muffled to comply with venue noise restrictions (95db).

  1. Special Conditions:

NO RALLY TYRES or 4WD TYRES ALLOWED.

  1. Passengers as Instructors Only

This Event will include a Motor Sport Passenger Ride Activity (MSPRA) which shall be run under and in accordance with the CAMS MSPRA Policy.

a)Passengers are only allowed where their role is as an ‘Instructor’.

b)A Briefing must be attended by each Driver and Passenger (and guardians of each Passenger if Passenger is under 18 years of age) conducted by the Clerk of the Course prior to the MSPRA commencing.

Instructors must:

a)Be experienced and have the permission of the Clerk of Course. The suitability of the Passenger is at the discretion of the Clerk of Course.

b)Wear the same protective gear as a Driver in accordance with Schedule D of the current CAMS Manual of Motor Sport.

c)Be fitted and restrained as required for each Automobile with consideration for their physical attributes.

d)Complete a Passenger Ride Entry Form and disclaimer.

e)Drivers must fill out a Passenger Ride Entry Form to ride as a Passenger.

f)Vehicles and Apparel used must pass Scrutiny.

g)Vehicles shall only carry one Passenger at a time, unless otherwise approved by CAMS.

  1. Competition
  • The running order on the day will be at the discretion of the Clerk of the Course or their assistant.
  • A compulsory Drivers Briefing will be held at 0900on the day of the Event. Official runs will commence at the conclusion of the Divers Briefing.
  • Timing will be as per the requirements of the NationalMotorkhanaCode.
  • All penalties will be as per the National MotorkhanaCode.
  1. Classes
  1. 2WD wheelbase up to 2150mm.
  2. 2WD wheelbase 2151 to2390mm.
  3. 2WD wheelbase 2391 to 2574mm.
  4. 2WD wheelbase 2575 and over.
  5. 4WD vehicles (which must be driven in the four-wheel drive mode throughout the competition).
  6. Front-Wheel Drive Specials.
  7. Rear-Wheel Drive Specials.
  1. Awards

1st, 2nd,3rd outright, 1stin each class;1st, 2nd,3rd junior and1stLady.

  1. Protests

Any protests must be lodged in accordance with Part XII of the current NCR.

  1. Abandonment

The Promoters reserve the right to abandon, postpone or cancel the Event in accordance with NCR 59 of the current CAMS Manual of Motor Sport.

  1. Alcohol, Drugs and Other Substances

Any holder of a CAMS ‘Competition’ or ‘Officials’ licence (or equivalent licence issued by another ASN) may be tested for the presence of drugs (or other banned substances) and subject to a penalty(ies) for a breach in accordance with the CAMS Anti-Doping Policy and/or the CAMS Illicit Drugs in Sport (Safety Testing) Policy as published on the CAMS website. Consumption of alcohol in the paddock, pits or any section of the competition venue/course under the control of the Officials is forbidden until all competition is concluded each day. Accordingly, any holder of a CAMS ‘Competition’ or ‘Officials’ licence (or equivalent licence issued by another ASN) may also be tested for the presence of alcohol by a CAMS Accredited Testing Official (CATO) in accordance with the CAMS Standard Operating Procedure for Breath Alcohol Testing.
