ADVENT OPPORTUNITIES

Interested in deepening your relationship with God? Add some extra prayer time this Advent. EveryMondayduring Advent beginning thisMonday December 4th, there will be Eucharistic Adoration/Evening Prayer and time for personal prayer in the Chapel immediately following 8th period until3:30pm. Stop by for 5 minutes, 10 minutes or the whole time! The Lord awaits you.

Prayer Books--There are free copies of the Advent Magnificat, a monthly prayer book, in the Ministry Office. Please stop by if you would like a copy. Again, they're free.

Christmas Concert- Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary is holding it's freeannual Christmas Concert onSunday, December 10th. For more information, please see Mr. Beaver.

BASKETBALL

Please join us today for MidDay Madness at5pmtoday in our gym! There will be a lot of dunks, 3's, prizes to be won, and most of all, a lot of fun!

CAHILLITES FOR KIDS

With the temperatures outside slowly dropping, Cahillites for Kids, a movement composed of S.A.D.D., Student Council, Roman Ambassadors, C.S.C, N.H.S, Big Brothers and the Roman Athletic Teams, are collecting gently used winter clothing such as jackets, scarves, hats and gloves. Last year, Cahillites for Kids collected 350 articles of winter clothing that all went to kids and adults in need.

There will be collection boxes scattered around the building to collect these items. Please think about contributing.You not only warm a body, you also warm a heart.

CSC

CSC will be collecting travel sized toiletries and socks to donate to the Veteran's Multi-Service Center. There will be boxes in the Student Affairs Office beginningMonday, November 20th through Thursday, December 7th. We are asking freshmen and sophomores to donate the travel sized toiletries and juniors and seniors todonate socks.

The Knights of Columbus is looking for Assistance in Making Baskets on 12/10. Please see Ms. Kuvik if interested.

Wewill be making lunch bags for the homeless after school on 12/11.

Attention Seniors!

The priority deadline to apply to Penn State is TODAY November 30th!!!!

Remember you must send your test scores to Penn State directly from Collegeboard or the ACT.

Seniors, who would like their November SAT scores sent to schools, see Sr. Jane in Guidance.

Seniors who would like their October ACT scores to schools please see Sr. Jane in Guidance.

Seniors who live in the following zip codes: 19131, 19132, or 19129 and are interested in an after school job, come to the Guidance Office as soon as possible.

Attention Juniors!

Junior Interviews have begun. If you would like your meeting sooner rather than later stop in guidance and fill out an appointment slip. We will discuss SAT's, college, career and financial aid.

Be sure to bring your registration ticket, photo ID, Number 2 pencil and a calculator with fresh batteries.Ifyoudo not have your registration and photo ID you will not be able totakethetest! Get agoodnight’s sleep and don’t forget toeatbreakfast. Bring a snack and drink – it’s a long test! Also remember DO NOTtakeout your cell phone at any time duringthetest, even on breaks. Better yet leave it at home. Get tothetest center no later than7:45am.

KAIROS

Kairos applications for the December Kairos have been emailed to all seniors. They are also available in the main office. Space is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

PHOTOGRAPHY

The Photography Club will have its next meeting onMonday, December 4thafter 8th in room 54. Bring your cameras.

SADD

SADD will be hosting a Christmas Party for Families in Need on Sunday, December 10th. Each homeroom has been asked to adopt a child who could use our help. We are so grateful for your support!

SADD members that missed the meeting on Monday are asked to stop in the Student Affairs office to get the information on the party. See Mrs. Brown

WRESTLING

The wrestling team is still in need of student athletes who can wrestle in the weight classes 106 lbs., 113 lbs. This is an opportunity to potential start in a varsity line up. See Mr. Gault ASAP if interested. Time is running out to join the team.
