What is the Letter of Authority?
This Letter of Authority gives 2buy2 permission to speak to potential suppliers on your behalf about your renewable energy quote and enter you into a contract subject to a 5 day review period.
Completing the Letter of Authority.
Please print off the Letter of Authority (below, page two only) on headed notepaper, sign it, and send it in to . Please note, the document must be physically signed. Unfortunately, we cannot accept digitally signed copies.

Authority to Act
I/We hereby authorise 2buy2.com to act as the utility procurement company for:-
I/We authorise them to obtain quotations for my/our electricity and gas supplies, obtain copies of invoices wherever necessary and deal with all enquiries relating to our electricity and gas supplies. We furthermore authorise them access to any relevant data to enable them to carry out these tasks. We authorise them to terminate contracts on our behalf.
I/We agree to accept that the above company will search the market on our behalf and will present to us recommendations for the best value energy contracts.
I/We agree that the above company should receive copy bills and any half hourly data requested by them.
I/We agree that 2buy2 have the authority to enter into contracts or binding documentation on our behalf. This is subject to the relevant contract rates being sent to me/us followed by a period of 5 working days where the rates can be rejected.
I/We agree that the above company can represent us in any dispute that is dealt with by the Energy Ombudsman Scheme.
I/We agree that this letter is signed to comply with the Data Protection Act
In addition, please accept this letter as authorisation to release customer information direct to the above organisation, including all contract renewal offers. This authorisation remains in place for a period of 12 months from the date of signature or until withdrawn by any authorised individual within our company - whichever is sooner.
I/We agree that the above company can obtain account information directly from the supplier to facilitate the resolution of any issues likely to cause impediment to the smooth running of the contract.
Contracts or binding documentation will continue to require the approval and signature of an authorised representative of:
