Notes of Guidance to applicants in preparing the research proposal

In formulating a research proposal applicants must seek the advice and guidance of the Supervisory Team. The research proposal should accompany this application for approval. The proposal should not normally exceed more than three sides of A4.[1]

Applicants are recommended to consider the following research aspects in preparing their research proposal. It should be noted that these are research elements and not headings by which to structure their proposal. The Committee, however, accepts that in certain disciplines, or fields of study, other conventions for outlining a research project should apply.
