Keys to Supernatural Turnaround?

A turnaround is a "complete change from a bad situation to a good situation.

1. Violent Faith. Violet faith usually create a platform for divine attention which leads to supernatural turnaround. Every situation is reversible by faith. The bible says if you belief you shall see the glory of God.

We saw this in the woman with the issue of blood for 12 years, who had spent all she had. (Luke 8:43-48) She told herself “if only I could touch the hem of His garment, I will be made whole”—and that became her experience.

2. Aggressive prayers: prayer is a divine prescription for every human affliction or unpleasant situations. Prayer changes stories and indeed destiny.

I Chronicles 4: 10“Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, "Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain." And God granted his request.” Jabez meaning sorrow activated the power of prayer, and his name changed from sorrow to joy, from pain to gain and from curses to unimaginable blessings.

King Hezekiah didn't settle for premature death, but cried out to God for a turnaround.

Isaiah 38: 3 “In those days Hezekiah became ill and was at the point of death. The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to him and said, “This is what the Lord says: Put your house in order, because you are going to die; you will not recover.” 2Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord, 3“Remember, Lord, how I have walked before you faithfully and with wholehearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

* That same prophet returned with a new word that he would live 15 more years and his enemies would be defeated. Prayer: You will receive a new word from God today.

(Psalm 34:17) "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles” Some people have been in their situation for so long; it's become their identity.

It's time to get a new word about that situation.

3. Obedience: Luke 5:5 “5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless, at thy word I will let down the net. 6When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break.”

*You may not encounter supernatural turnaround in your life unless you obey

James 1:22 - But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
Isaiah 1:19 - If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

Luke 6:46 - And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

4. Fear God: Psalm 147:11 “11The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.” The proper fear and respect of God will motivate us to avoid sin (Exodus 20:20). It reminds us that God will hold us accountable for our actions.
Fearing God allows us to rely on Him and revere Him.

5. Let your ways pleases the Lord.

Proverbs 16:7 “7When a man's ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. Hebrews 11:6“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is,and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

Beloved, I want you to prepare yourself for a divine turnaround this morning. Shall we pray?

Prayer: Father, every one you have ordained to bless me, let me not miss them and let me not miss any opportunity for advancement and turn around for my destiny in Jesus name.

What is a supernatural turnaround?

SUPERNATURAL: out of the natural realm; not according to your strength;

• This is the realm where without the power of God, there would be absolutely nothing happening.

A supernatural turnaround is a divine encounter where God reverses my circumstances, turns around the negative into positive and shifts my thoughts and life toward a new direction.
• What you think is a hurt, turns into a God’s appointment

A supernatural turnaround is when God steps into your world and changes things around.Prayer: God is stepping in to your situation this month.
• The footprint of God is so big that when He steps in, everything else has to move.

Are you ready for the vision and dreams? They don’t come without a cost. It comes with pits and prisons.

• God brought Joseph into an unexpected place.
— God can use non-Christians to be part of your destiny.

WHEN GOD MOVES INTO YOUR WORLD: God steps between you and the situation. • God’s got your battles. He’s coming in between.And not only that, but He’s also comes in suddenly.
Luke 5:12-16 “12And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. 13And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.”

Luke 7:11-17“And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people. 12Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her. 13And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not. 14And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise. 15And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother. 16And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people.”

Psalm 126 : 1-6 “126When theLordturned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. 2Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, TheLordhath done great things for them. 3TheLordhath done great things for us; whereof we are glad. 4Turn again our captivity, OLord, as the streams in the south. 5They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. 6He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.”

A prisoner becomes a ruler;

A sales man becomes CEO,

an illegal immigrant becomes a Citizen;

a school drops out later becomes a billionaire.

A barren woman becomes the mother of triplets etc

Isaiah 43:18-19 “18Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. 19Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”

When you touch the supernatural realm, it changes the way you see things, the way you speak, your career goals, and how you go about life.

______

ELIJAH’S GOD IS OUR GOD:

What does this mean in a practical sense?

  • It means that the Lord God who kept Elijah faithful when most of the nation had turned aside can keep us faithful and loyal.Throughout his ministry he experienced loneliness, self-pity and discouragement. Yet, through God’’s power, he was kept true to the end. Do you wonder if you can remain true to the Lord? Remember – Elijah’’s God is your God and He will never fail you –- look up Hebrews 13:5-6,”5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.” and compare Philippians 1:6; 2 Timothy 4:18; Jude 24.
  • It means that the Lord God who fed Elijah and supplied his temporal needs can supply our every need.He sent bread and flesh when he was by the brook Cherith (1 Kings 17:2-7“2And the word of theLordcame unto him, saying,3Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. 4And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there. 5So he went and did according unto the word of theLord: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.6And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook. 7And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land.”), meal and oil for the household at Zarephath (1 Kings 17:8-16)……Can He do that for us? Yes! –- look up Matthew 6:25-34.
  • It means that the Lord who worked miracles for and through Elijah will work miracles for and through us. Look up 1 Kings 17:1-6; 8-16; 17:17-23; 18:36-38; 19:5-7; 2 Kings 1:9-12; 2:8 and 11. Has God altered? No! He can and He does still perform miracles.
  • It means that the Lord God who answered Elijah’’s prayers is ready and willing to answer ours.James 5:16-18“16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. 17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.”
  • It means that the Lord God who was so gracious and kind to His sick, failing, overwrought servant will deal just as lovingly and tenderly with us.Let us be slow to condemn Elijah; he did fail, but so do we; and the same God who was so gracious and forgiving and restored Elijah will deal with us just as graciously.

______

Faithful to Finish His Work in You

Philippians 1:6 “6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

I. He starts the work in us.

Note three things from this famous verse. First, God takes the initiative in starting his work in you. He is the one who “begins a good work” in us. John3:27“27 John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.”

Second, God takes personal responsibility for completing his work in you. Rev. 22:13“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.” This seems to be a most comforting thought. God has a “good work” that he intends to accomplish in your life and in mine. The good news is that since God isn’t finished yet, we have great hope for the future.

Third, God guarantees the outcome of His work in you. Not only does God start the process, and continue the process, he also guarantees its ultimate outcome. He will “carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” This means that God won’t be turned aside by difficulties of any kind. Hebrews 13: 5“5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”Note: A better day is coming for the people of God. Prayers:

What is incomplete will be made complete in Jesus’ name.

What is unfinished will be finished. What is lacking will be made full.

What is partial will be made whole. What is less than enough will be far more than adequate.

What is broken will be fixed. What is weak will be made strong.

What is temporary will be made permanent in Jesus’ mighty name.

God has promised to do it and he cannot lie. Has God begun a good work in your life? Do you feel incomplete and unfinished? Fear not, child of God. He will complete his work in you.

II. He keeps us from falling.

Jude 1: 24“Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy”—

First,talks about the power of God: “To him who is able to keep you from falling.”
Second,talks about the purpose of God: “To present you before his glorious presence.”
Third,talks about the promise of God: “Without fault and with great joy.”

God has ordained that those whom he calls to salvation will be so preserved that, though they stumble along the way, they will not utterly fall away. He guards his children by his Spirit and with the holy angels to insure that none are lost during their earthly pilgrimage.

Beloved, better days are coming. Days of victory. Days of rejoicing are not far away. Your present failure won’t last forever. One day the battle will be over and you will stand in God’s presence whole and complete, free from everything that drags you down in this life. You will enter heaven with a song on your lips. God has willed it so.

Note: God often brings difficulty into our lives to deepen our total dependence on Him.

______

“Dimensions of Grace”

What is grace? Is the free and unmerited favor of God

Ephesians 2:8“8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
1 Corinthians 1: 4-9 :“4I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; 5That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; 6Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: 7So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: 8Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Romans 6.1-4“What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2God forbid.

Now I would like to Summarize the Benefits of Believers in 3 Dimensions! That is, what we have, given to us in 3 Dimensions!

1. Past /Saving Grace ; 2. Present Gifts 3. Future Guarantees

First – Past Grace:Our Past grace is saving grace!Paul reminds us that our salvation is a gift from God in His Son! It is a gift of a gift!“I’m thankful to God for you because of God’s unmerited, unearned loving gift (grace) given to you in Christ” (the greatest gift). 1 Corinthians 1: 4

We find that our grace is in Christ. All that we have are from God…….AND

Note; The Corinthian church focused on themselves:

….they believe that they have, arrived!( in spiritual terms)

..They focus on the eloquence of speech rather than the word of God;

..They focus on the glamour of the gifts rather than the worship of God;

..They focus on the demonstration of the gifts rather than the edification of the Body!

But Paul is re-directing their focus…..from themselves to God.

*It is all from God alone…grounded in Christ alone - that we have salvation, the Spirit, the grace of God in our lives!

*The Holy Spirit removes the veil of blindness from our eyes and allows us to see God…..we see “4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.” (2 Cor. 4.4)

B.Present Gifts –1 Corinthians 1: 5-7 “; 5That in everything ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; 6Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: 7So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:”

The point here is that God has supplied by His grace to all who are in Christ, all of the speech and knowledge we need – BUT we must open our mouths to speak it….AND we must appropriate the knowledge to use it!

Ephesians 1:17“17That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:”

Also, Paul prayed for the Colossians church: Colossians 1:9-10“9For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;10That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;”

Note: If a Christian falls into sin, or impurity - it’s not because he lacks spiritual provision - - but because he/she is not appropriating what he/she already has! .
