Today was a tremendous Tuesday all day long. First Mr. Frost greeted me with a hello and with a giant smile(Like always.) Like every day , we are supposed to do the do now list and I was on number 1 my country project. And guess who won the crazy Who hair day contest? I did! I won a cheetah bracelet, a cheetah pencil and a cheetah key chain.

After a few minutes, we went to Health and we learned about safety with strangers. I liked talking about safety with strangers. In gym we exercised, did fitness lab and used the batting cages. My high score was 10 points.

For morning meeting, Nick chose pass the bear. This is a popular greeting. Sophia introduced us to her current event and it was the Scripps spelling bee contest. After, we did the class cheer and the inspiring phrase of the day was to be good to other people. Next, Nick chose Maddox for the Star Spangled Banner. Later we did the Dr. Seuss corrections . There were 32 corrections we had to make!

We learned about a drinking gourd and slaves used it to make music in the 1700's and 1800's. We watched a video about it and I learned that slaves were pulled away from their families. Then we were dismissed for lunch and recess.

After returning from lunch and recess, we had silent time but we did not have team time. We read the story about the drinking gourd. Next, we worked on our math skills, by playing a game that included perimeter and area. Then, we worked on our country project since it is due this Friday. Finally, it was the end of the day and I went home. Hooray!
