Facilities/Operations Report
Sequela is coming up on the 19th of January. A goal of Sequela in addition to fellowship, worship, and communion is to communicate. For the upcoming Sequela, the importance of good sponsorship will be communicated. Alternate sites for Sequela were discussed to rotate throughout the year. One idea would be to hold one at CornerstoneChurch in Long Beachand one at GraceBibleChurch in Riverside to make more convenient for those in our community who are not located in O.C.
MailChimp was discussed again to be used as the tool to manage the growing community database and a test email went out from Bill. He also created a template for communicating.
Fall weekends 2013RedHillLutheranChurch(RHLC) is able to open their facilities for a set of weekends in August. A vote was taken and passed to accept the offer of the facility which will be earlier than our usual October timeframe. The dates are:

Saturday, July 13th – Team Building/Training Meeting #2 – 9am to 2pm
Saturday, July 27th – Team Building/Training Meeting #3 – 9am to 2pm
Thursday thru Sunday, August 8th-11th - Men’s Weekend

Clergy’s Report
Jim Trebilcox spoke with New York Headquarters of the National Tres Dias Organization. Spiritual Leaders for the weekends do not have to be ordained at the National level but the goal of that servant should be to be ordained in their future. However our bylaws for the Orange County Tres Diasstate that all Clergy on the weekends to be ordained (for protection of our community), it was stated that every effort be made to bring at least one clergy of the same gender to work the weekends.
President’s Report
Eddie has spoken to Diana Johnson about being Rectora for the fall (Aug.) women’s weekend – she said yes! Men’s Rector search has not revealed (yet) who the servant Rector will be. Eddie also stated that we, the community, need to encourage more musicians and clergy to come into the OCTD ministry to assist with the weekends.
Closed in prayer
