Fall 2016 Hornets Teacher InnovationGrant Application Guidelines

The Hornets Teacher Innovation Grant program seeks to empower CMS educators and support the implementation of innovative strategies to educate and prepare every student to graduate college- and career-ready in the 21st century. The program provides grant funding up to $5,000 per proposal selected.

Applicants are encouraged to submit proposals that help students build the essential skills needed to be college- and career-ready. This not only encompasses mastery of content in core subject areas, but also includes creativity, communication, critical thinking, collaboration and entrepreneurship skills.

Applicants are also strongly encouraged to align their proposals with one or more goals of the school district’s Strategic Plan 2018: For a Better Tomorrow.
