How Much Is Too Much? Proverbs箴言 15:15-17

1. If you feel ok to share: how much money would make you feel safe to retire?

2. Read Proverbs 10:2-4 & 21:20. Through these “buts但是” , what principles can we learn about money and possessions?

3. Is it ok for Christians or god-fearing people wanting to be rich? Why or why not?

Didn’t the Bible say that money is the root of all evil? 金錢是萬惡之根?

4. Read Proverbs 15:15. This verse teaches us that ______is more important than money.

5. Share some practical ways that I want to change / improve : in terms of being more content:

6. Read Proverbs 15:16. This verse teaches us that ______is more important than money.

7. Read Proverbs 3:9-10. “First Fruits” teaches us: give God the best and give to God first (not till you have paid off all the other expense than give the rest to God). And when we do, God will pour out His blessing!

Read瑪拉基 Malachi 3:8, it seems that we should give two things: a) our duty, the tithe that was given to the Levites利未人(ppl who serve God), which is equivalent to our church/ministers today. b) then offerings (thanksgiving or burnt offering for sin). Today we don’t need to burn anything on the altar, but we can give our time/energy (serving), and we can also give thanks by giving more -- to other organizations / mission agency / non-profit.

For you, what’s the most difficult part of tithing 十一奉獻? (and also offering to other organizations?)

If you have any testimony to share on this issue:
