Senator Ursula Stephens, Parliamentary Secretary for Social Inclusion and the Voluntary Sector will launch the latest ANCD report -Non-Government Organisations in the Alcohol and Other Drugs Sector: Issues and options for sustainability at this forum

The ANCD and NIDAC are seeking views from non-government, community based, government, education, health and law enforcementstaff on Indigenous and non Indigenous alcohol and other drugs issues in Queensland.
Formal presentations will be made by representatives of the ANCD, the QLD State and local Governments and the QLD NGO AODpeak body.
This is your chance to have your voice heard on issues that are important to you, your organisation and your community.The forum aims to be a collage of opinions, ideas and resolutions across a range of areas. The conclusions from the forum will be reported in the ANCD communiqué which is sent to a number of key decision makers and stakeholders and placed on the ANCD website.
The Australian National Council on Drugs (ANCD) is the principal advisory body to Government on drug policy and plays a critical role in ensuring the voice of the community is heard in relation to drug related policies and strategies.
