Important information:
- We do not pay an honorarium for presenting at these sessions; however, we do cover speakers’ reasonable travel costs (including lodging for out-of-towners).
- Speakers receive FREE registration and are encouraged to attend the entire conference day.
- Each session is 60 minutes long (inclusive of presentation, discussion, and Q&A).
- We strongly prefer that each session have only one speaker; a request for more than one speaker (or a panel) must have a strong rationale, which will be considered by the planners.
- Each speaker whose proposal is accepted will sign by February 8 a Letter of Agreement which specifies timeline, responsibilities, and deliverables (see sample attached). If a speaker does not meet the conditions specified in the LOA, the conference organizers may rescind the invitation to speak.
If you are interested, please complete and return the attached form (or provide in a different document the information requested on the form) by December 31, 2012. Be sure to attach the speaker’s CV or resume. Applicants will be notified of the decision by January 31, 2013.
