1.0Introduction

1.1Organizational Background

Brief the history of the organization. Required information are date of establishment, founder name(s), location, organization core business and any extra information that will help lecturer to understand the organization.

1.2Organizational Chart

Provide the hierarchy of the organization using SmartArt feature available in MS Word. Marks will be deducted if content does not comply with stated requirement and does not follow the original chart from the organization.

1.3Existing Process Description

Choose ONE process from the organization. Then, describe clearly how the organization execute the existing process. The elaboration must be in sequence for easy understanding. States data from existing process need to be stored as well.

2.1Project Objectives

State at least two project objectives why do you choose this project and it must reflect to Existing Process Description section.

2.2Project Boundary

Describe the project boundary clearly here. Therefore, you will not include any out of scope areas into your project.

2.3Database Design

Provide Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD). ERD must be constructed using specific tool(s) meant for database modeling such as MS Visio, MySQL Workbench, Oracle Data Modeler, and any other suitable tool(s). Marks will be deducted if ERD is constructed using inappropriate tool(s).

2.4Data Dictionary

Use provided table below to represent your database data dictionary. One table below represent one entity. If your ERD contains five entities, it means you will have 5 tables below.

3.0Team Structure

3.1Organizational Chart

Create your team organizational chart using SmartArt feature available in MS Word. Your team should consist of 1 Project Manager, 1 or 2 Database Designers, and 1 or 2 Database Programmers depending on number of group members you have.

3.2Roles and Responsibilities

Provide your group member’s formal picture, role based on your team organizational chart and responsibilities for each team member. The responsibilities must depend on role assigned to the members.
