A NIGHT AT THE RACES
We would like to invite you to join in on the fun during “A Night at the Races” to be held at the Sacred Heart Chapel Gymnasium (4301 Pearl Ave., Lorain, Ohio 44055). All funds raised will go to the Sacred Heart Chapel general fund. This event will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2013. Doors will open at 6:00 PM and the races will begin at 7:00 PM. Admission for the event is $15.00 per person which includes entrance to the race, snacks and a beverage. Reservations for group tables will also be available. Races are on sealed films and no one knows who the winner will be. Minimum wagers will be set at $2:00.
Individuals will have the opportunity to buy a horse for one of the races. The cost of the horse will be $10.00 which entitles you to name your horse. If your horse wins, you will win $50.00.
Individuals or businesses that wish to sponsor a race can do so for a $50.00 fee and their business card will be placed at the bottom of the program for that race.
