Jeremiah Conley (Connolly) Jr., a son of Jeremiah Connolly, was born in Galway County Ireland in 1749 and died in Rice’s Run, Harrison County VA. He married Maria Whalen. Mariah was born in Galway County in 1763 and died in Lost Creek, Harrison County VA in 1825. The family came to America with five children about 1800. Three more children were born in America.

James Conley, a son of Jeremiah and Maria (Whalen) Conley, was born in Ireland about 1785 and died in Harrison County VA between 1850and 1860. The family lived in the Baltimore MD area for several years, then moved to Ryans Glade, MD and then to Harrison County VA (WV). James married Asenath Romine April 12, 1812 in Harrison County VA (WV). He married Nancy Middleton in Harrison County October 1, 1825 in Harrison County. She was born in Harrison County May 4, 1799 and died there August 24, 1884.

Isaac Conley, a son of Jeremiah and Delilah (Davis) Conley, was born December 25, 1818 and died in Calhoun County WV January 8, 1894. He married Martha H. Bailey. Martha, a daughter of Doddridge and Phebe (Belcher) Bailey, was born in Tazewell County VA, November 9, 1821 and died in Calhoun County May 28, 1905. They lived in the Minnora, WV area and are buried on Meadow Run.

John Conley, a son of Patrick and Mary Conley, was born about 1835. He married Nancy McElwain in Calhoun County VA (WV) December 6, 1858. Nancy, a daughter of Jacob and Christina (Parsons) McElwain, was born in VA in November 1838. This marriage wasn’t a success. Nancy was listed in the 1870 Calhoun County WV census as Nancy Wane, a 30 year old housekeeper in the Washington Hicks household. She married Hiram Corbett in Roane County, WV November 26, 1879.
John married Susan Goff July 26, 1866 in Calhoun Country WV. Susan, a daughter of Henry and Mary (George) Goff, was born in Pendleton County VA (WV) about 1841.
