Quest Diagnostics® Provides Important Diagnostic Insights with BRCAvantage Plus™
Quest’s comprehensive genetic test menu helps diagnose risk for Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer Syndrome (HBOC). Quest offers BRCAvantage™, a suite of the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genetic tests, as well as an innovative new test suite called BRCAvantage Plus™. The new suite includes TP53, PTEN, CDH1, STK11 and PALB2, in addition to BRCA1 and BRCA2, and looks to explain an additional 3.0-4.5% of hereditary breast cancer.
Preauthorization & Assistance
Steering your patients to an in-network lab like Quest Diagnostics can help lower their out-of-pocket costs. To make sure your patient is covered, preauthorization is required for BRCA testing. Quest can help by managing the preauthorization process. Quest will work with patients’ insurance providers to determine if the testing is covered and give you an estimated patient responsibility.
