Math Star Assignment
As you might have noticed, the bulletin board in the front of the classroom has the words “Math Stars” across the top. We need to fill it up with some math stars from our class! I need your help. Your job has two parts. You are to write a short paper, 1 page typed and double-spaced about your ability as a math star. Think positively!! Tell me ways that you have been successful in math in other years or ways that you have not been so successful. Write about the aspects of math you enjoy. How do you use math in your everyday life? I also want to know what you are going to do this year to be a successful math star. Of course, proper English grammar, spelling, and rules do apply. I know that we can all do it! The second part of your assignment is to bring in a small picture of yourself that we can put on our board. Make sure that you put your name and period on the back. I am proud that we are all going to be stars in this class and so I want to show everyone off!
