2. Mounting of the Instrument

2.1 Matters Needing Attention

(1) Instrument needs to install in following environment:

(2)Atmospheric Pressure:8~106kPa

Environment Temperature:0~50℃

Relative Humidity:45~85%RH

(3)During installation, the following items should be paid attentionto:

Rapid change of environment temperature may cause dew

Certain corrosive and inflammable gases

Directshake or impact acting on themain structure of the instrument

Water,oil,chimerical articles,smoke fog orvaporpollution.

Too muchdust, salt or metalpowder

Direct blowing by air-conditioning or directprojection by sunlight

Accumulating place of heatradiation

2.2Mounting Process

(1)According to the needed hole size for install, cut out the rectangle holeson the panel for mounting the instruments.

(2)When installingthe instruments more than one, the distance between two edges of the holes should be largerthan 25mm in horizontal direction and than30mm in vertical direction.

(3)Insert the instrument into the hole on the panel.

(4)Insert mounting holder in the slot for mounting the instruments.

(5)Push tightly the mounting holder to connect the instrument and the panelfirmly.

3.1 Noticesof Wiring

(1)For thermocouple input, thecompensate line corresponding to the type of the thermocouple is needed to usage

(2)For thermo-resistance input, the three conducting wires with identical and low electric resistance and identical length for connecting the thermo-resistance are needed.

(3)The input signal line should be mounted separated from the instrument’spower line, power supply line and load line for avoidingleading-in the electromagnetisminterference.

 According to the instrument state,a variety of parameters are displayed.

③ Indicators

 Control output indicator(OUT)(Green): Bright at operation

 Auto-tuning indicator(AT)(Yellow):Twinkle at operation

Alarm output 1(ALM1)( Red): Bright at operation

Alarm output 2(ALM2)(Red): Bright at operation

④FUNCTION KEY:SET

 This key isused to take out the parameters, update parameters anditsaffirming.

⑤SHIFT KEY:

This key is used toselectthe place of the parameter and the On/Off state of the control output in the light of requirements of user.

⑥DIGITAL ADJUSTING KEY:▲ and▼

 Used to adjust the digits and Start/Quit of the Auto-tuning state

5. Operation

5.1Sequence of the variety of functions

Display of Input Type:

Display of Input Range: After about 4 seconds of display, the automatic conversationaccomplished

Standard Display Mode: Automatically returning if not press Key about 1 minute

Press the Function KeyMode of Updating and Setting:

Press the Function Key more than 4 seconds Updating Control Parameter

5.2Thedetailedexplanation of the functions

After the instrument is power on, the upper row displays Inp and the lower row displays the calibration mark of the temperature sensor. Passing through 2 seconds, the upper row displays the upper limit of the measurement range and the lower row displays the lower limit of the measurement range. After 2 seconds again, the upper row displays the Measurement Value and the lower row displays the Set Point Value then the system comes into its normal operation state.

Set the temperature value: Press the SET key, the upper row displays SP value. Press the SHIFT KEY to make the digital place that is needed to be updatedto be twinkle. Pressor KEY,the lower row displays its needed value. Press SET KEY, system return to its standard model state.

The Control Parameters’ Setting: Pressing the SET KEY above 4 seconds, the upper row displays the prompt symbol of the control parameter (Detailed can see the list table for the control parameters). Press the SHIFT KEY to make the digital place that is needed to be updated to be twinkle. PressorKEY the lower Row displays the needed value of the parameter. Carrying on pressing the SET KEY, the upper row displays the parameter’s symbolin turn and pressing the SHIFT KEY to make the place needed tobe updated twinkle then press orKEY to make the control parameter equal to its needed value. Again pressing the SET KEY more than 4 seconds, system returns to its standard model state.

 If the lower part of the display window of PV value appears in , it illustrates that the thermocouple is connected in reverse or the thermo-resistance is in short circuit state or the measured temperature exceeded its measurement range. If the upper part of thedisplay window of PV value appears in , it illustrates that the thermocouple was in open circuit state or the measured temperature exceeded its measurement range.

 The Auto-tuning Function for the instrument control parameters: After pressing orKEY more than 4seconds, the AT indicator twinkle, the controller starts its Auto-Tuning process. After the temperature displayed passing through 1~2 times of wave propagation, Auto-tuning ended and the AT indicator turn off,and then the system obtains a new set of PID parameters and the instrument can operate according to this new set of PID parameters and this set of PID parameters would save automatically in the controller.
