WILD GAME DINNER
This Saturday is our Wild Game Dinner. This event is taking on a new look. We are inviting everyone to come early for some fun competition in casting, shooting and archery. You can arrive at 4:30 to look things over and then at 5 pm the competition will begin. Dinner is at 6 pm and this year our guest speaker is Mr. Chris Douglas. Chris is the host of a new outdoors show featuring hunting and fishing in North Carolina called “Carolina All Out”. His new show will feature many of the hunting and fishing opportunities within our state as well as some of the charm of our state that often outdoor folks love. Chris has been involved in filming outdoor television shows for many of the big names in the outdoor industry and has traveled the world in his career. We are delighted to have him as our speaker.
Next Sunday is YOUTH SUNDAY. Our Youth will be teaching the Adult Sunday School Classes and Leading us in the Morning Worship Hour.

“FOOD ROUNDUP” for Baptist Children’s Homes of NC
Through the month of April we will be participating in the annual “Food Roundup” for boys and girls living at Baptist Children’s Homes of North Carolina. The state-wide goal is to collect $350,000 in food, supplies, and gift cards. That’s approximately 700,000 meals and snacks – enough for an entire year! Collection bins are located in the little kitchen, suitable for family-size canned goods, hygiene supplies, batteries, cleaning supplies, and paper goods. Gift cards, however, are preferable. If donating gift cards, please place those in the hands of Kathy Seal or Stephanie Bridges so that they can be secured. Gift cards are requested for Food Lion, Lowes’ Food, Walmart, Ingles, SAMS Club, and Piggly Wiggly.
