Reloadable scrip -- how to support your church without really trying

Jay Hatfield, Ed Benn and Carol Hoffman sell scrip and gift cards for local area businesses -- including King Soopers and Safeway -- each Sunday morning after service in the Small Hall. For more info, see the Gift Card Sales web page.

How to make payments to the church via PayPal to Heads Up

All Souls has a PayPal account, and you can use it for pledge payments, donations, and other contributions. You must first set up your own PayPal account (more on that below).

If you have a PayPal account, here's how to send money to the church:

1.  Go to the PayPal site (paypal.com) and sign in.

2.  Click the Send Money tab.

3.  In the To field, enter .

4.  Enter in the Amount you want to send.

5.  Click the Personal tab (below the Amount field).

6.  Select Gift in the list.

7.  Click the Continue button.

8.  Review your payment details, and change them if needed.

9.  In the Email section, enter the Subject (e.g., Pledge Payment) and a brief message (so the Treasurer can update your contribution record correctly).

10.  Click the Send Money button.

NOTE: PayPal will assume you're paying the processing fee. To pass that cost on to the church, uncheck the "I will pay the fee" box. Of course, we prefer that you pay the fee (especially for pledge payments) ... and you can include the fee in your contributions write-off.

Ron Oliver will help you set up your own PayPal account. Doing this is easy and free. If you don't have a PayPal account, email Ron and he will email you an invoice which you can pay with your credit card. Ron's contact info is:

Namoli Brennet in Concert - Sunday, Feb. 24, 6:00 pm to Calendar ... to Community Events

Acclaimed transgender folk singer Namoli Brennet will perform live in concert on All Souls' stage on Sunday evening, Feb. 24. The concert starts at 6:00 pm, tickets are $10 each, and a share of the proceeds will go to All Souls.

Dubbed "one of the best folk-rock artists in the country" by the Tucson Weekly, Namoli has been touring and performing since 2002, when she hit the road with her first CD. 1000-plus shows and 200,000 miles later, her gritty, honest folk has attracted a large and extremely loyal fanbase. She's self-released 10 CDs, including her latest, "Live," which was recorded over the course of 6 months and 14,000 miles. Her poignant, introspective and sometimes hard-hitting music has won praise and accolades from critics and fans alike; Zocalo magazine calls her music "gorgeous and introspective." She's been nominated for numerous OUTmusic awards and is featured in the film "Out In The Silence," which details the struggle of a gay teen growing up in rural Pennsylvania.
