Step-by-step Guide

Step 1: Go to Rogers Middle School homepage-

Step 2: Quick Links top right of the homepage

  • Click on the second icon from the right- Online Textbooks

Step 3: Online Textbook & Resources-

  • Scroll down until Intermediate Schools (5-8) Section
  • Click on the McGrawHill Textbooks link- first link listed

Step 4: McGrawHill- Connect Ed Link-

  • Click on the McGrawHill Textbooks hyperlink- listed under the Login Below

Step 5: Secure Logon forMcGrawHill Textbooks-

  • Use the SAME username & password used to log on to computers at school. Your child’s username and password should be the only login information you will need to log in with on school-related sites.

Step 6: Applications & Links- McGrawHill Textbooks-

  • Click on the McGrawHill Textbook globe

Step 7: ConnectEd home- Your ConnectEd Content-

  • Click on the McGrawHill Textbook student edition,
  • World Cultures & Geography, Texas

Step 8: McGraw-Hill Networks-

  • You can pick the unit, chapter, and/or lesson from the drop-down boxes in the center of the page
  • You can access all the materials, readings, and chapter resources

clickon Online Textbooks Link

Step 3:Online Textbook & Resources-

Look for Intermediate Schools (5-8) Section

Click on the McGrawHill Textbooks link (first link listed)

Step 4: Click on the McGrawHillTextbooks Link

Step 5: Log on using your Pearlandusername & password

(just like in the classroom)

Step 6: Click on the McGrawHill Textbook globe

Step 7: Click on the Student Edition textbook

You won’t have teacher’s edition available 

Step 8:McGraw Hill Networks

Select a unit, chapter, and/or lesson-

All resources are included (+maps)
