NOTICE OF MEETING OF PARISH COUNCIL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE NEXT MEETING OF THE PARISH COUNCIL WILL BE HELD IN THE COMMUNITY CENTRE, MAIN STREET, BREEDON ON THE HILL, ON MONDAY, 2nd July 2007 AT 7.00PM. ALL MEMBERS OF THE PARISH COUNCIL ARE SUMMONED TO ATTEND FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSIDERING AND RESOLVING THE BUSINESS TO BE TRANSACTED AT THE MEETING AS SET OUT BELOW.

BREEDON ON THE HILL PARISH COUNCIL

CLERK’S REPORT: PARISH COUNCIL MEETING 2nd July 2007

This report is attached as Appendix A to the Agenda for the above meeting.

1.Church Footpath – Letter sent to LCC requesting maintenance of the grass on the steps up to the church. Some work has been carried out.

2.FLAG plaques for Play Area .

3.Rights of Way and Footpaths – Cllr Jones reported that the footpath sign approximately half way up the Hill to the Church needs replacing. Letter sent to LCC. Awaiting response.

4.Bus Shelter, Deep Well – It has been established that this is not the responsibility of NWLDC. Harold Heath to carry out work at his earliest convenience.

5.Music in the Park – Event scheduled to take place on Sunday 12th August 2007. The band playing this year will be the Ibstock Brick Brass Band. Chairs will be needed. More details to follow.

  1. Car Park at Church – Awaiting work to be carried out.
  2. NWLDC Physical Activity. Sarah Worbey (Physical Activity Specialist) to invite her to the July Meeting of the Parish Council. Accepted
  3. Flooding – Quarry Entrance, Breedon. Awaiting Severn Trent Water Authority response.
  4. NWLDC Street Environment Manager Ian Toon. Clerk has written to invite to September Meeting of the Parish Council. Accepted
