3. BYOD Policy. It was recognised that the plan to encourage BYOD in schools also crosses other policies (eg phones are not allowed in some schools) After discussion, it was agreed that Nancy, Penny and Richard would get together to create a policy for Bring Your Own Devices. This DASP Policy would allow schools to either adapt or adopt this for use in their own schools. Timescale. Aim to complete this by end of June 2014

4. Digital Leaders http://damersdigitalleaders.wordpress.com/ Kids’ Meet. Tim Oram not present. A date is already fixed (Wed 11th June 2014 and a room is free at THS) After discussion, it was agreed to float this as a G and T ICT session and that schools would be asked to send 2 children with ICT skills to share. This will be run along the same lines as the DASPO Enrichment – run by Julie Thorp. Action - Bob to discuss with Julie and Tim Oram.

4.5 Virtual Desktop. (Bob) A demonstration on the VM Virtual Desktop. This system is in the process of being installed at other first and middle schools.

5. IPACA DASP ICT group, progress so far! ICT Coordinators have met at IPACA twice and are now creating a set of resources for all year groups from Age 4 to KS4. The completed document should be ready by 4th July 2014 and will be sent by email shortly after that date.

6. Update on the Curriculum groups. (Graham and Simon) Graham has organised the next meeting and the lower age group fixed a date for their second meeting (24th June 2014). Please claim supply (with Joy Ray at St Osmunds) and aim to complete work by end of June.

7. ICT Up-skilling sessions. These will be re-started from September – when the term is less busy.
