This refers to the notebook containing paper copies of the problem solutions and other course materials like the Syllabus. You may check these out for “One Hour, Library Use Only” to refer to and to make copies for your own use.

Also listed as “Location: Science Reserve” are two copies of the

“COLLEGE PHYSICS STUDY GUIDE AND SOLUTIONS MANUAL / RAYMOND SERWAY”

for your reference. These also are available for “One Hour, Library Use Only.”

For example, the “Tentative Course Schedule” is available on-line and is listed as

“PHYSICS1110-01 COURSE SCHEDULE/EDWARD KONCEL”

To access this file click either on

“PHYSICS1110-01 COURSE SCHEDULE/EDWARD KONCEL” in the title box

or on

“KONCEL PHYS1110 E-3”

in the line with the “Call Number”

On the next screen, scroll down until you see the line

E-Items: Click here for course schedule

and click as instructed.

At this point, an E-RESERVE COPYRIGHT log-on screen will appear. Enter your Username and Password, using your UW Student network login information, then click in the box to acknowledge “I have read and agree to the copyright statement”, then click “SUBMIT QUERY.” (Make sure that the caps lock is off.)

If a facultyor staffmember is following these instructions, use your UW login (username & password). The domain must be changed to UWYO in order to access the e-item.

The scanned document should come up in Adobe Acrobat. (AdobeAcrobat MUST be loaded on your PC to view the e-item.)

If you have difficulties viewing the document, use the magnifyingglass/Zoom in Tool feature in Acrobat in order to better see the text.

Monitor quality and resolution settings vary depending on the equipment and the preferences set by the user. The text may be clear on some monitors. You may need to use the magnifying glass/Zoom in Tool to view the documents on your monitor.

The document will load faster or slower depending on the size of the file and the speed of your equipment.
