5.3OVERNIGHT FIELD TRIP

The Board is asked to approve the overnight field trip to participate in the 14th Annual Salmon Relay Run on May 27-29.

The Board is asked to approve Hoopa Elementary School’s eighth grade field trip to Los Angeles on May 29-June 4th.

The Board is asked to approve Orleans Elementary School’s eighth grade class trip to San Francisco on June 7-10.

7.1SCHOOL SITE PLAN/HOOPA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

The Board is asked to approve the school site plan.

7.2SCHOOL INNOVATIONS AND ACHIEVEMENT

The Board is asked to approve the agreement with SI&A in the amount of $5,400.00to retain services for the preparation of school accountability report cards (SARC).

7.3CACHING SERVER APPROVAL FROM ERATE POSTING

The Board is asked to approve the proposal from Tomahawk-Cachebox solution in the amount of $3,952.50 to help relieve internet traffic congestion at sites that have as little as 1.5Mbps and as many as 250+ concurrently connected devices.

7.4WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS SOLUTION APPROVAL FROM ERATE POSTING

The Board is asked to approve the proposal from AMS-Merkai solution in the amount of $7,512.52 for additional access points to expand the coverage to provide encompassing coverage as well as full saturation to provide critical wireless access for staff, teachers, and student devices.

7.6OUR YOUTH, OUR FUTURE SURVEY

Colorado State University is asking our students at Hoopa Elementary to participate in a national study of youth who live on or near American Indian reservations.

7.7REQUEST FOR ALLOWANCE OF ATTENDANCE BECAUSE OF EMERGENCY CONDITIONS

The Board is asked to approve the submission of a request for allowance of attendance for Weitchpec Elementary School on September 14, 2015.

7.8REQUEST FOR ALLOWANCE OF ATTENDANCE BECAUSE OF EMERGENCY CONDITIONS

The Board is asked to approve the submission of a request for allowance of attendance for Jack Norton Elementary School on September 22, 2015.

7.9CHANGE ORDER FOR HOOPA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CLASSROOM/ADMIN & GYM ALTERATIONS

The Board is asked to approve the change orders in the amount of $127,793.35.

7.10CHANGE ORDER FOR HOOPA VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL GYM MODERNIZATION

The Board is asked to approve the change orders in the amount of $256,938.37.

7.112016-2017 SCHOOL CALENDAR

The Board is asked to approve the proposed school calendar for next year.

7.12FORMATION OF COMMITTEE TO NAME AN ATHLETIC FIELD

The Board is asked to approve the formation of a committeeto name an athletic field. Per Board Policy 7310, the Board of Trustees may name an athletic field as a memorial in honor of the contributions of students, staff members and community members.

7.13APPROVALFOREMPLOYEERECOGNITIONNIGHT

The Board is asked to approve the hosting of an Employee Recognition/Retiree dinner on May 20th. The cost of the function has not been determined as of yet, but will not exceed $7,500.00.
