Thank you for your interest in the post of Teaching Assistant / ASD and SLCN at Little Lever School.

We are looking for a creative and talented practitioner to work as part of the schools Inclusion Team. Reporting directly to the Director of Inclusion, the post holder will play a key role in supporting students identified with ASD/SLCN.

The successful candidate will join a school that is under going transformational change with a focus on delivering quality learning and teaching to all our students. In the November 2010 Ofsted Inspection Learning and Teaching were judged to be good and improving with no lessons judged inadequate and 67% judged good or outstanding. In June 2012 the school was recognised by the SSAT as in the top 10% of schools/academies nationally making outstanding continuous improvement in the % of students achieving 5A*-C GCSEs incl. English and Maths between 2008-2011.

At Little Lever we are committed to the professional development of all our staff. We have a structured programme of training delivered through whole staff CPD sessions, twilight and INSET days which allows staff to discuss and share good practice.
