Clarification – Honorary Memberships
Some members who picked up their certificates are under the misapprehension that they do not have to pay anything. The list that was put up showing their length of service also specified that under 50 years still had to pay 50% of the subscription. They were classed as Interim Honorary Members and would only become Full Honorary Members when they completed the 50years’ qualification period. We apologise for any embarrassment that you may have incurred through this misunderstanding.

Quiz Night– 8-30pm start
The Quiz started another year of competitions last month with all of the teams keen to get back. The Robins hit the track running with two good wins. The first was a close thing just getting home in front of the Diddlers, the Two’s A Crowd and the Squirrels in a tie break finish. The second win saw them finish just in front of the Squirrels.

Friday Function Room Bookings
We are taking bookings for 2017 so if you want to get the date you prefer don’t hesitate in contacting us now. £80 deposit will secure your date with £30returned to you if there are noproblems on the day. We also cater for Sat/Sun afternoon Functions.

Bowls
The Bowls team having finished their season are now in the process of signing on players for the 2017 season.
They have lost a couple of players to other teams and are looking to recruit new blood, so if you think you could challenge for a place in the team then please don’t hesitate in signing on for the team. Contact Stan Weir in the club if you are interested.
Snooker
1st Division
The Bronze won 4 of their 5matches last month. In the 1staway toSnooker Centrethey lostby 147pts. They next played at hometo Central Consand won by just 9 pts. Then away to WRBL they won by 165 pts. In their next match at home to Liscard Consthey won by 16 pts. Finally, they finished the month with a derby match against Bronze Socialwhich they won by 65pts.
They are now in 7th place now with 22 pts
The Bronze Social won just 2 of their 5 matches played last month. First, they lost athome toOld Manor by 71pts. Then they lost away at Pot Shotsby 98 pts They then played home to The Great Float and won by 116 pts. They then travelled Away to Manor Road Cons and won by 77pts. In their next match with The Bronze they lost out by 65pts.
They are currently in 9th position in the table with 16 points.
2nd Division
The Bronze team managed just one win out of three last month when they beat ManorRoad Cons by 189pts. In their other matches, they lost at home to Old Manor by 162 and in the other match lost away atPot-shotsby 24pts.
They are still bottom with 6 points
