AICR Research Conference Poster Abstract Submission Guidelines
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 12, 2011
All posters must be related to cancer, with a focus on food, nutrition, physical activity or weight management. Please prepare your poster abstract using the template and instructions below.
Abstracts must be submitted by email to .
Abstracts must include:
- Title
- Presenter
- Investigators
- Academic affiliation of all investigators
- Keywords
- Presenter’s full contact information
Abstract Title
Arial 14 font bold, left aligned; the title should be in sentence case with no period at the end.
Example:
Vitamin D and cancer
Author Names
Arial 10 font. Surname, first initial. Presenting author to be bold, affiliations numbered in superscript. If there are more than six authors, please provide the names of the first six authors (co-authors and first author) followed by et al.
Example:
Smith, B1, Harrison, N2, Matthews, P2, Smith, A1, Harrison, A2, Matthews, W 2, et al.

Arial 10 font, University/Institute, City, State, Country (if outside the United States)

- Abstracts should be structured under the following headings: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusions, Keywords
- Please use single line spacing, text unjustified
- Symbols and other special characters may be included
- Tables and figures should not be included in the abstract
- References are not requiredbut if they are used, they will count towards the total word count for the abstract
