The telescopic pole reaches up to the ceiling without having to use unsteady steps. Hook attachments and Jet Wire can be fitted, while the telescopic pole also helps to fasten Jet Wire in existing hooks and grilles. Set up, pull down, hang straight .

Nice and easy. The newly designed telescopic pole, used to fit and remove Jet Wire from the roof, is small and flexible. At its tip there is a magnet and bracket for fixing self-adhesive hooks to the ceiling.

Set up, pull down, hang straight. Setting up shop activities is simple with Jet Wire. The length can be smoothly altered to 3.5 metres which opens the door to creative solutions when hanging signs, hangings, product samples or drinks cans.
PRESS RELEASE 2005-01-03
An extended, global success
"Commerce's need to set up campaigns and customer activities simply is the basis of Jet Wire's success," says Per Hultberg, MD of family-owned Swedish company, Avant Display, which in 2005 will be celebrating its 60th birthday.
Jet Wire's function can be summarised as: set up - pull down - hang straight.
"This has ensured us extended success, to say the least," continues Per. Today, Jet Wire is a global business. Exports constitute 80% of sales .
In simple terms, Jet Wire is an extendable spiral. The three models, the JS20, JS40 and JS60, have maximum lengths of 1.5 metres for the JS20 and JS40, and 3.5 metres for the JS60. The advantage is obvious to any shop employee or product representative who needs to set up a campaign or product launch quickly. Simply set up and pull down Jet Wire and the sign will be hanging straight.
The various models can carry weights of 400 gram for the JS 20 and up to one kilo for the other two models.
"Jet Wire can therefore be used to hang drinks cans, heavy signs or other hangings over a product pallet in a shop."
Additional sales
"Jet Wire creates spontaneous additional sales using simple, low-cost means," points out Per.
Avant Display was founded in 1945, but it wasn't until the 1960s that Jet Wire was born. It was developed to fulfil the need of being able to set up and exhibit campaigns quickly. The 1960s saw the arrival of department stores and self-service shops which replaced manual-service shops.
"In those days, jet aircraft were the fastest things around and a symbol of the spirit of the age. So our invention was named Jet Wire. In the meantime, the product has been developed and improved," says Per who took over the company in 1994.
Exports make up a large proportion of sales, hence Jet Wire's international name.
"The fundamental idea is still the same; Jet Wire must be simple to set up and getting the signs to hang straight must be quick."
Success story
Even though Jet Wire is a success story and although it got its name from the jet's embodiment of all things modern, it took nearly ten years for it to take off and feel the wind beneath its wings.
"It was hardly a flying start. At that time, lots of stores had their own dressers and they saw their craft being threatened. Nowadays, dressers concentrate mainly on display windows and product representatives set up displays in the stores, which must be a quick and simple process. That's where Jet Wire's telescopic pole is unbeatable. "
The telescopic pole Per Hultberg is talking about is complementary to Jet Wire. The pole has been newly designed and launched under the contemporary name of "Helping High".
The telescopic pole has been developed to hang self-adhesive hooks from the store's ceiling and can facilitate both round and conical hooks. It can also be used to set up Jet Wire on existing hooks, grilles or lamps.
"It means that Jet Wire can be hung where needed, so that signs are positioned next to the products."
Cleaning ceilings
"Since it is fitted with a magnet, it is also excellent for cleaning ceilings. That way, there are no empty Jet Wires left hanging from the ceiling once the campaign's finished," says Per.
The advantage of the telescopic pole is that shop staff and product representatives don't need to balance on steps to attach hooks to the ceiling when setting up a campaign. The magnet in the pole then makes it easy to remove Jet Wire from the hooks.
It's the simple, smart solutions which have made Avant Display and Jet Wire a concept in store fitting and store activity material.
"Over the last nine years we have concentrated on producing everything needed to hang campaign material in shops. Besides Jet Wire, we also make hooks, brackets, wobblers, poster hangers, clamping strips and hanging holders," says Per Hultberg.
