OTHER: / List Test(s) Required:
NOTE:
- Styles that have combo fabrics that exceed 15% of the total body of the style OR have a Mid or Under Belly (cotton spandex), Knit Bra Lining, or Lining Fabric require 4 yards of the combo fabric(s) provided at the same time self-fabric is submitted for Fabric Testing.
- Bras: Bra Fabrics used for functionality (Nursing Lining, Shell or Combo Shell) require full fabric testing. Decorative fabrics such as lace trimming do not.
- Styles with a Secret Fit Belly – the SFB Tubes are NOT required to be tested separately during Fabric Testing Stage of the style being tested.
- Styles using suspect fabric that require Flammability Testing 1 additional yard of fabric OR 1 additionalsample is required for flammability testing.
- Styles with a Heat Seal must have Appearance Testing in Fabric and Garment form. At Fabric Testing stage, a fabric panel with production quality Heat Seal applied, must be provided in addition to the 4 yards of fabric so that appearance after wash can be checked early in the testing cycle. At Garment Stage, the production quality Heat Seal must be exhibited in all garments submitted for testing. If there are different color heat seal per colorway Vendors are required to ensure the fabric panels are tested for appearance per colorway with correct color heat seal applied to ensure appearance to laundering & DC is acceptable for all color combinations.
- Styles with a Screen Print must have Appearance & CF Testing in Fabric and Garment form. At Fabric Testing stage, a fabric panel with production screen print quality applied, must be provided in addition to the 4 yards of fabric so that appearance after wash & DC can be evaluated early enough in the testing cycle if a problem occurs. At Garment Stage, the production quality screen print must be exhibited on all garments submitted for testing. If a screen print style has multiple colors with different screen prints per colorway – each color requires Appearance to wash & DC. If Vendor has a program of styles with different screen prints per style but all using the same Inks – Vendors must consolidate the screen print Appearance testing and choose the best selection of styles that represents all color inks used and only test those styles to represent ALL INK COLORS.
- Styles with Belts (Metal, Faux Leather, Genuine Leather or material other than fabric) must have belt attached to garments so that they can be evaluated for California Prop 65 or other mandatory state regulatory testing.
- Garment Dye, Dip Dye, Tie Dye, Over-dye, Pigment Dye & Denim styles must be tested in Garment Form – no exceptions.
- Sweaters – Must be tested in Garment Form – no exceptions
- Additional sampling requirements (Yardage, Garments or Trim) may be needed dependent on styling and construction – always check with INTERTEK Lab prior to testing.
- In Addition to the above: All Destination Maternity Corp. product tested will be automatically evaluated for any applicable California Prop 65, CPSIA, State Regulatory Testing and this testing, if applicable, will be automatically performed and testing cost billed outside the DM package price. * A GCC will be issued at the end of each test report when applicable to the rules/ban/requirement appropriate for the product tested.
