Dear Summer League Swimmers,
We hope that you will join us again for a fun and exciting season. We are pleased to announce that Tracie Schannep, Jared Willis and Sam Cleveland will be our coaches this year. Riverside Aquatic Club will continue to sponsor the team and provide whatever resources we can to ensure a successful season.
Cost for any swimmer who participated with RAC during the year will be $60.00 per swimmer.******** The cost for all others for the season will be $80.00 for the first two swimmers and $70.00 for each swimmer thereafter. A registration form is included to speed up the process. You can mail the registration form with a check to Kathy Collings, 3413 Jaffrey Drive, New Albany, IN 47150. Checks should be made out to Riverside Aquatic Club
General sign-ups will take place on Saturday, May 14th at Highland Hills MS between 9-11 am. The 2015 Handbook will be available at registration or the parent meeting or you may download from the website: www.riversideaquaticclub.com.
Required Parent Meeting on Thursday, June 2nd at New Albany HS pool from 6:30-7:30. Swimville will be at the pool on this night for suit fittings and equipment purchase.
We have an excellent board headed up Kathryn Tanner and Aniesa Wiseman and would welcome anyone else who can assist them with the team. We would like to know who is available from last year to run the computer at the home meets or who would like to learn. Please contact Aniesa Wiseman at if you can be a board member and/or train to run the computer.
Officials clinics will be Tues, June 1st at and Wed, June 2nd. Times and location to be announced.
We will again offer evening practices at New Albany HS pool, however practices for May 31 and June 1st will be at Hazelwood MS. Practices will start at NA on Thurs, June 2.
8 & unders (and brand new 9-10’s) will swim from 6-7pm and 9 and older swimmers will practice from 7-8pm. Practices will be offered Mon through Thur.
The season will begin with practices on Tues, May 31st. The first meet is scheduled for Monday, June 6th. Champs are scheduled for Saturday, July 9th.
