TechBuy Profile Set Up – Adding a Shipping Address
Click on profile in TechBuy to review and update personal user information ranging from assigned roles, approver information, email preferences, and more.
NOTE: The Save button must be selected on each screen for changes to be saved. Navigating to another screen without clicking the Save button will lose any changes made on the previous screen.
Addresses: Setting up Bill To and Ship To Addresses
Billing and Shipping information is required in TechBuy. The shipping address identifies where the supplier should ship the item(s). The billing address identifies where the supplier should send the invoice for the item(s).
From Profile/Purchasing/Addresses:
Select the Ship To Tab and click on Select Address for Profile
In Address Text, enter your Building name or an abbreviation of your building name and click on Search
Select the radio button adjacent to the address desired and you may now Edit the Selected Address.
Nickname: You may rename this Address with a Nickname. This will
make it easier to identify if you have more than one address in your profile. This will also allow you to use this same address – as long as you give each selection a different Nickname.
Default: Click the default button if this is the address you would like to have as a default. Additional addresses may be selected; however, you may only have one default address.
Room/Building: This is not a required field. Leave it blank if you want to be prompted to complete everytime you submit a cart. Put the room number in if it will always be the same room number when you place an order.
Press the Save button to save changes. The selected address displays in the Shipping Addresses list box.
This is also the location you would use to delete addresses or make changes to existing Shipping Addresses (room numbers, defaults, etc.)
