And, just south of the Yorkshire boundary you'll find Bolsover Castle.
Fantastic savings can be had by showing your CSSC card allowing free entry for yourself, another adult and up to six children at many English Heritage sites. You also get 15% off goods purchased in the onsite gift shops.

Taster Days past and future
Were you aware that CSSC organised a taster day event at Rother Valley Country Park in July?
10 people booked to try out the cable water ski/board facility. It turned into a day of great joy for those who mastered the task in hand and met their personal goals to water board a part circuit for some and a complete circuit or more for others. For some there was the joy of completing a part circuit only to be followed by an early departure from their board as they set off on their next attempt.
The participants I spoke to had great fun on the day and expected to discover muscles they never knew they had by the following day. Friends and relatives who came to give moral support also enjoyed the day, not just the successes but also some of the misfortunes, often more entertaining and comical than watching a comedy.
Looking to the future, have you considered the Sledge & Slide Taster at Snowzone Xscape in Castleford on 15 November? Another great chance to try something new at a discounted cost.
