Pursuit Channel Joins Promotional Push

For SCI’s 2018 Annual Hunters’ Convention

Safari Club International’s Annual Hunters’ Convention has landed a new level of television visibility on the Pursuit Channel.

Earlier this month, SCI/SCIF began a partnership with the Pursuit Channel to promote hunting and sustainable-use wildlife conservation. The partnership will include new programming, as well as promotional opportunities for both organizations with SCI membership and the Pursuit Channel's growing global audience.

SCI’s upcoming 2018 Las Vegas convention Jan. 31 – Feb. 3 is already airing on the Pursuit Channel, which also will have a booth and will exhibit this year.

“We look forward to the Pursuit Channel’s valued presence at convention and throughout the year,” said SCI CBO Libby Grimes. “To accent SCI’s convention season network promotions, the SCI 2018 Annual Hunters’ Convention also will be airing commercials on the NRA’s cable network show Under Wild Skies, and on Jim Shockey’s Hunting Adventures in November and December.

“In January, SCI’s convention commercials will air on Bone Collector, Addicted to the Outdoors, Alaska Outdoors, The Journey, Deadliest Hunts, Commander Life and Grateful Nation. Look for times and dates on the Outdoor Channel website,” she added.

The SCI convention website, www.ShowSCI.org, offers an array of options for attendees. View more than eight video productions about the show and find details on auction items that will be sold over the four days.

Visit the entertainment and ticketed event page to see the lineup for the gala evening banquet and auctions; and to buy event tickets, register, reserve a hotel room or find transportation options. Make plans now to attend.

The MGM Grand Hotel and Casino, where SCI will headquarter and where evening events will be held, has notified SCI that the room block is still available. Shuttle service is included that will take attendees back and forth to the Las Vegas Convention Center to visit the show floor. The deadline to book a room is Dec. 28.

The SCI convention expects a massive turnout this year in Las Vegas to celebrate the convention’s last year there until the 50th Anniversary in 2022. The show has grown to over 2,300 booths and 22,000 attendees.
