ISO/TS Supervisor

Currently we are looking for a TS/ISO Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary: Ensure that a Quality & Environmental System is established, implemented and maintained in accordance with the ISO/QS standards.

Essential Functions:

  • Organize, implement and verify internal audits including providing training for internal auditors
  • Plan and schedule 3rd party assessments for all Nifco facilities
  • Control Corporate Quality and Environmental System documentation including the Quality & Environmental manual and the General Procedures
  • Originate corrective and preventative action requests that arise from internal audits and 3rd party audits
  • Report on the performance of the Quality & Environmental System to Upper Management for review as a basis for continuous improvement
  • Insure customer surveys regarding the TS16949:2002 are appropriately completed and returned to the customer
  • Train employees on use and implementation of the Quality & Environmental System at all levels
  • Maintain records of all internal and 3rd party audits for specified retention times
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of the Document Control personnel at each location.

Education:

  • Associates Degree or 2 year related experience

Experience/Skills/Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Supervisory or Management positions
  • Excellent skill in use of database, spreadsheet and work processing software
  • Must be able to train and motivate people in a positive manner verbally and in writing
  • Effective communicator in the English Language
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal / communications skills to interact

effectively with Management and all levels of associates as well as 3rd party and customers

  • Successful completion of Lead Assessor training course
  • Travel 15% to 20%

Physical/Ergonomic Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods in manufacturing area.
  • Must be able to work on a computer on a daily basis and extended periods of time.
